3 Ways to Style a Basic Tank

Ok so I am sitting here watching a rerun of the new The Hills and I can't decide if this is the most ridiculous thing ever or if I'm loving it...either way I'm sure I'll watch it so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Anyways, the real purpose of this post is to talk about clothes so let's get to it. I am a total sucker for staple pieces because I feel like you can get so much use out of them and style them so many ways and they never get old! I have been loving this tank from Target lately and am sharing 3 ways I wear it.

1. Everyday Casual - this is probably how I wear it the most, nothing crazy or special just with some shorts or basic jeans and a good pair of sandals. I love it this way because you can throw on some cute jewelry if you want to jazz it up or a jacket/sweater around your waist and it instantly changes the look. Just a fail proof way to wear this tank!

2. Slightly Dressed Up - I say dressed up loosely because if you know me, wedges or platforms is 'dressed up' to me lol. I would wear this tank for a causal date night with Rich or on the weekend going to lunch with friends. You could switch out the kimono for a cardigan or jacket and some cute booties as it gets closer to fall too!

3. Fake Activewear - I usually wear leggings multiple times Monday - Friday with a non workout top. For whatever reason it makes me feel somewhat put together when I don't feel like actually getting ready, and still practical for chasing around a toddler!
